Dental Promotion in 2006
During the 2006 Dental Season Staring Plaza Veterinary Center ran an in-house promotion for Dental Month in February. The practice offered a $25 discount on all dentals during this time frame. They mailed out approximately 600 postcards with the follow message on the front “It is time to come in for a dental cleaning” along with an offer for $25 off the total cost of the cleaning. The cost for this mailing was $241. The response to the mailing brought in 10 coupons. The total amount of dentals during January and February 2006 was 26 patients. The revenue generated from the Dental Season 11/1/05 to 3/15/06 was $7,750.70.
Dental Promotion with HealthyPet in 2007
During the 2007 Dental Season the practice used the HealthyPet Magazine Newsletter Program. The educational magazine was sent to 848 clients and reach clients’ homes around January 15, 2007. The coupon on the front stated “$25 Off Pets Dental” with an expiration date of March 1, 2007. The cost of the mailing for 848 pieces at 0.60 each was $508.80. The response to the mailing brought in 13 coupons. The total amount of dentals during January and February 2007 was 33 patients. The revenue they generated from the Dental Season 11/1/06 to 3/14/07 was $13,731.01.
