Dental Promotion in 2006
During the 2006 Dental Season Staring Plaza Veterinary Center ran an in-house promotion for Dental Month in February. The practice offered a $25 discount on all dentals during this time frame. They mailed out approximately 600 postcards with the follow message on the front “It is time to come in for a dental cleaning” along with an offer for $25 off the total cost of the cleaning. The cost for this mailing was $241. The response to the mailing brought in 10 coupons. The total amount of dentals during January and February 2006 was 26 patients. The revenue generated from the Dental Season 11/1/05 to 3/15/06 was $7,750.70.

Dental Promotion with HealthyPet in 2007
During the 2007 Dental Season the practice used the HealthyPet Magazine Newsletter Program. The educational magazine was sent to 848 clients and reach clients’ homes around January 15, 2007. The coupon on the front stated “$25 Off Pets Dental” with an expiration date of March 1, 2007. The cost of the mailing for 848 pieces at 0.60 each was $508.80. The response to the mailing brought in 13 coupons. The total amount of dentals during January and February 2007 was 33 patients. The revenue they generated from the Dental Season 11/1/06 to 3/14/07 was $13,731.01.

During the 2005 Dental Season Como Park Animal Hospital in Saint Paul, MN sent an in-house mailing offering $50 off dentals through February of 2006. The cost of mailing was approximately $3,000. The clinic sent a letter with a certificate offer to 2,500 clients. In response to the mailing 114 dentals were performed for the 05-06 winter season with an average invoice of $500. Including the cost of the mailing, Como Park Animal Hospital generated revenue of $54,000 using the in-house promotion.

Dental Promotion with HealthyPet in 2006
During the 2006 Dental Season the practice sent the HealthyPet Newsletter mailing offering $75 off dentals through February of 2007. The cost of mailing was $1,506.45. The HealthyPet magazine and dental newsletter was sent to 2,739 clients. In response to the magazine and newsletter 159 dentals were performed for the 06-07 winter season with an average invoice of $500. Including the cost of the mailing, the practice generated revenue of $77,993.55 using the HealthyPet Newsletter Program.
