Q1 What's the catch?
There is no catch. There are two reasons that we are able to offer this program to you at such a low price. First, we have the support of many of the largest companies in the veterinary industry and they advertise in HealthyPet Magazine allowing us to charge you less. Second, because we work with so many veterinary hospitals we are able to generate large discounts on printing and postage and we share with all of our clients. We do not ask you to sign any contracts and you can discontinue using the program at any time.
Q2 What will it cost me to participate?
Only 89 cents for each magazine reminder, including postage. There are no startup costs or hidden fees. It's 89 cents per reminder. We even consolidate reminders to the same household, so you only pay 89 cents to remind the client for all their pets. We send out reminder postcards as 2nd and 3rd reminders for 49 cents.
Q3 How do you print and mail the magazine for such a low price?
There are two reasons that we are able to do everything for 89 cents, while it would cost you at least that in postage alone to mail this magazine to your clients. First, the support in the form of advertising dollars from many of the largest companies in the industry allows us to offer this incredible service to your veterinary practice at a minimal cost. Second, we pass on to you the discounts in printing and postage that we get by working with so many veterinary practices all across the country.
Q4 What about the security of my client list?
We will contractually guarantee that your list will only be used to mail HealthyPet Magazine. Your list will never be sold, leased, rented, or shared with any other entity. HealthyPet simply acts as a fulfillment agent to mail your magazine reminders. This is a service similar to what other companies in the Health Care industry perform. Above and beyond this, we will never compromise the integrity of your list because our goal is to develop a long-term relationship with you and your practice. The Confidentiality Agreement that we send to you was developed in conjunction with respected Veterinary Consultants to make sure that your interests were taken into account.
Q5 How do I send you my reminders?
The easiest way is via the Internet. You simply print your reminders to a file and upload it to us via our Web site. We can also receive the file via email or a diskette that you mail to us. However, uploading the file to us is the most efficient and simplest way to guarantee that we receive your files in a timely manner.
Q6 That still sounds complicated. What if I'm not computer literate?
Each of our clients is assigned an Account Manager (AM) who will assist you with every aspect of our program. The AM is your personal connection to HealthyPet and will be able to assist you whenever you need assistance. The AM will walk you through your software program and train you on how to export your reminders and upload them to our Web site. They will also show you how to use our easy-to-use proprietary software for managing your reminders.
Q7 Are you familiar with the software program that I use to manage my practice?
Most likely! Our Account Managers are trained in almost every veterinary management system.
Q8 I'm concerned about the content of the magazine. What type of editorial will you put in the magazine?
All editorial content is consumer oriented and pro veterinarian. Some examples of the editorial content would be Hero Pets, Celebrity Pets, and Pets and the Family. Our Veterinary Board of Advisors approves all editorial before we print the magazines. Our main objective is to clearly explain to pet owners the importance of developing a close relationship with their veterinarian.
Q9 How do I pay for this service?
You have two ways to pay for our services. The first way, which we recommend, is that you put a credit card on file with us. We will use this credit card to bill you only for reminders that we mail on your behalf. The second way is to pay by check, and we ask that you prepay for your mailings if you are paying by check.
Q10 Do you offer any additional marketing programs?
Yes. We offer a Newsletter Program that allows you to communicate timely preventative healthcare topics to your clients on a regular basis. You can write your own custom newsletter or choose from one of the many newsletters that we have already written. Successful topics of newsletters range from Senior Wellness to Dental Examinations to the importance of proper Heartworm and Intestinal Parasite Prevention. You choose the topic and the content, and we do the rest from there.
